Ghana and Austin Spurs Center Amida Brimah will be missing the services of Point Guard Derrick White who has been recalled to the San Antonio Spurs.
White has been a big provider of Amida’s baskets in his improved offensive production since the start of the year with Brimah scoring 19 and 15 points two of his team’s last three games.
The NBA outfit assigned the 2017 Draft pick to its Gatorade League side Austin earlier this season but has called on him again.
DeJounte Murray, Tony Parker and Patty Mills have filled the roles as Guards for San Antonio but injuries to Parker has necessitated Murray’s promotion to the starting unit and White recall.
White has been in good form scoring 28 points in a loss to Memphis Hustle which ended Austin’s six game winning streak.
He produced 23 points, five rebounds, five assists, five assists and three steals in a win over Texas Legends this past weekend.
Brimah will be Spurs on Friday when they take on Iowa Wolves at home.
