The second half of the Global Sporting Platform (GSP) Basketball League is set to commence later this month following a lengthy break.

The 2017-2018 season’s first half concluded in December last year and games in the next half of the campaign are due to start on February 17 at the Eusbett Court.

All teams competing in this year’s league will be in action in the round including defending champions University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR).

With the restart date close by, games in the GSP league will be the first for club sides in Ghana in 2018; club competitions are yet to commence.

Major leagues in the West African country are scheduled to start later in the year with games in the Accra Basketball League set to start in March.

Tema Basketball League games are in line to be played around the same time as the Accra League per reports reaching Basketballghana.com

The GSP League is in its third season with Suncity Braves and UENR as past winners of previous editions.
