Following a lengthy absence since last year, games are returning to the Global Sporting Platform (GSP) Basketball League soon.
The league has been on a break since December 16 but will commence the second half reportedly on February 17 at the Eusbett Court.
Games in the second half of the season will have all eight teams in the league compete in the fifth round with defending champions UENR taking on Barracks Scorpions.
University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) lead the standings with eight points from four games played and face fifth placed Scorpions for the chance to extend its lead.
Second placed LIR Royals take on the worst side in the league Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints in the final game of the round.
Games between West Siders and Suncity Braves and Sunyani Technical University and Desert Rabbits will take place.
Braves won the inaugural GSP season but lost out to UENR in last season’s campaign on the final day after a loss to the tertiary side.
