Ghana’s Amida Brimah showed he is developing several aspects of his game dropping a balanced production in Austin Spurs latest outing in the NBA Gatorade League.
Spurs lost 115-120 to Memphis Hustle at home to have its six game winning run ended to the team ranked 12th in the Western Conference.
Conference leaders Spurs have been on a tear since the start of the year racking up seven wins in 10 games before falling to Memphis.
Brimah, renowned for his shot blocking skills recorded eight points, eight rebounds, four blocks and four assists in 27 minutes.
The former University of Connecticut Captain leads the league in blocked shots and his output in the game led all players.
The five point loss comes as a big shock since Memphis had won just three of its ten games away from home before the game.
Spurs will have to recover quickly as they take on Texas Legends on Saturday in need of a win to stave off second placed South Bay Lakers.
