2018 Sprite Ball Champions Presbyterian Senior High School (Osu-PRESEC) visited Ghana’s Presbyterian National Headquarters earlier today.

The reigning champions made the trip as part of activities marking its big win in this year’s Sprite Ball Championship held at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.

The team beat Mfantsipim School 25-22 in the final game to clinch its first national basketball championship little over three weeks ago.

The team was met on arrival by Ga Presbytery Chairperson Victor Abbey and top members of Ghana’s Presbyterian hierarchy.

PRESEC-Osu’s contingent was led by Headmistress Barbara Norteye, Reverend Wellington and Coach of the 2018 Sprite Ball Eric Ankamah.

The Presbytery leaders congratulated the team for its big achievement and bringing honor to the school and Christian sect.

Members of the playing unit including Most Valuable Player of the Tournament Joel Koboayere and Captain Shadrach Mensah accompanied the school leaders to the event.

This is the latest visit by the school to prominent dignitaries in Ghana after winning the 2018 title; Osu PRESEC has already visited Accra Mayor Mohammed Sowah and His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II.
