Reigning Sprite Ball Championship winners Presbyterian Senior High School (PRESEC-Osu) are set to visit the Presbyterian Moderator of Ghana Reverend Cephas Narh Omenyo.
The planned visit is due to take place on Tuesday January 30 at his office in Osu, Accra few weeks after clinching the coveted title.
The trophy will be presented to Ghana’s Moderator and top members of the Presbyterian Church in the West African country.
The visit will be the latest in line for the 2018 Sprite Ball Champions following similar visits to high profile personalities in the nation.
Osu PRESEC has already visited His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and Accra Mayor Mohammed Adjei Sowah.
Honorable Sowah promised to supervise the construction of a basketball court for the school after receiving the victorious team.
Beating Mfantsipim School 25-22 in the finals represents the first Sprite Ball Trophy win for a Greater Accra Region school since 2010.
Trainer Eric Ankamah and Guard Joel Koboayere were named Coach and Most Valuable Player of the Tournament respectively.
