Center Amida Brimah continues to raise Ghana’s flag higher with every passing week in the NBA Gatorade League.
The 6 foot 11 inch Defender had another impressive outing for Austin Spurs in the team’s latest outing last night at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.
Brimah recorded 14 points for his second game with a double digit point tally and added seven rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench.
He recorded four blocks to pace all players; Brimah leads all players in the G-League with 2.7 blocks per game; the closest challenger is Austin teammate Matt Costello who has 2.3 blocks for the season.
Former Houston Rockets 2014 Draft pick Nick Johnson led Spurs in scoring with 21 points closely followed by Livio Jean Charles’ 18 point performing.
The win is Spurs fifth straight win in as many games moving the team up to top the Western Conference standings on the back of winning seven of its last ten games.
Austin is scheduled to play Reno Big Horns.
