Ghana Center Amida Brimah top scored for Austin Spurs in the NBA Gatorade League game against Salt Lake City Stars a few hours ago.
The 6 foot 11 inch defender was in scintillating form as he registered 19 points in Austin’s 110-100 win over the Utah Jazz G-League affiliate.
The win comes on the back of three straight wins for Spurs which include victories over teams like Grand Rapids Drive and Aqua Caliente Clippers.
Spurs had every member of its starting unit record double digit points with Guard Olivier Hanlan matching Brimah’s 19 point performance.
Amida came off the bench to pace his side on the offensive end while living up to his defensive reputation by registering five blocks.
His block total led the game and represents a big bounce back performance for the former University of Connecticut player.
Senegal player Georges Niang registered a game high 20 points for Salt Lake City which had former draft pick Diamond Stone score 12 points.
