Cameroon International Joel Embiid will play with Stephen Curry at this year’s NBA All Star Game after getting picked by the Golden State Warriors Guard.
After getting voted to play in the exhibition game next month in Los Angeles, Embiid will feature in the marquee game for the first time in career.
The 7 footer will play alongside the two time NBA Champion with James Harden, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Klay Thompson.
The former Kansas University product is finally getting to show off his skills that made him the number pick in the 2014 Draft.
Embiid is averaging 23.7 points and 10.9 rebounds per game this season and his fine form has led Philadelphia Sixers to a playoff spot.
The third year Center has also been selected to participate in the Rising Stars Challenge during the All Star Weekend.
Embiid will represent Team World in the game and will face Team America representative Lonzo Ball; Ball’s father Lavar, has been in a war of words with Embiid on social media.
