Newly crowned Sprite Ball Male Champions Presbyterian Senior High School (Osu-PRESEC) are set to have its basketball court replaced with a new one Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The school’s court is not in the best state and needs a major face lift and thanks to the intervention of Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) Boss Mohammed Adjei Sowah, that the face lift has been earmarked.
Honorable Sowah confirmed this when he received a delegation from the school after clinching this year’s Sprite Ball Championship.
The court is one of many tipped to be constructed in Ghana’s capital’s Accra in the coming months as part of efforts to increase the level of patronage in the sport.
Reports coming in indicate logistics to ensure the rapid construction of the courts have been shipped in and ready to be distributed.
This initiative comes at a time PRESEC’s win is the first for Accra in the male division since Armed Forces Senior High Technical School won Sprite Ball in 2009.
