Austin Spurs have ended a two game losing run in the NBA Gatorade League following a 113-105 win over Northern Arizona Suns.
The game which took place at Spurs home arena had the visiting side fall with Austin recording its first win after dropping games to Wisconsin Herd and Maine Red Claws.
Ghana Center Amida Brimah contributed to the win albeit marginally registering four points, six rebounds and a block in 14 minutes off the bench.
It was a frustrating matchup for the shot blocking defender as he ended the game with four fouls and turned the ball over twice.
Heading to the game, Brimah was led all players in rebounds in two straight games but failed to produce the kind of magic that has made him indispensible off Spurs bench.
Forward Darrun Hilliard top scored for Spurs posting 27 points in 29 minutes; his markwas closely followed by Jaron Blossomgame’s 21 point output.
Former NBA player Archie Goodwin was joint top scorer for Suns with 25.
