Ghana will have its fair share of indigenous professional basketball players strut their stuff this weekend as games continue this month.
Ben Bentil and Amida Brimah are separated by the Atlantic Ocean but both players will be in action right about the same time.
Bentil is set to feature for Champagne Chalons-Reims in the French Pro A Basketball League on Saturday January 20 against Bourg.
Brimah and Austin Spurs come up against Grand Rapids Drive on Saturday in the NBA Gatorade League in a home fixture for Spurs.
Former Providence College standout Forward Bentil heads to the game following an 84-90 loss to Le Mans; Bentil scored 10 points and gathered three rebounds in the losing contest.
Former University of Connecticut Captain Brimah however moves into the weekend with a 113-105 win over Northern Arizona Suns; Amida performed below par registering four points and six rebounds.
Teams of both players need a win badly with Bentil’s Reims 15th in the 18 team French league and Brimah’s Spurs ranked eighth in the G League Western Conference.
