City Oilers have successfully defended its National Basketball League title despite missing out on a medal at the FIBA Africa Champions Cup last year.
The 2017 edition of the continental tournament had Oilers place fifth via an 82-70 win over Ferroviario de Beiria in the competition held in December.
Oilers beat KIU Titans 68-60 in Game Three of the Finals Series to sweep the series to record back to back Championship trophies.
Veteran ex international Stephen Omony led all scorers in the game with 22 points and added six rebounds in the winning effort.
Titans Guard Chris Omanye led his team in scoring with 18 points, four rebounds and four assists but had little help as no Titan player scored in double figures.
The loss marks a disappointing end to the season for Titans who beat the odds to make the Finals after placing fifth in the regular season.
KIU beat regular season leaders Pemba Warriors 3-1 in the semifinals to setup a meet against Oilers.
