Ghana Forward Ben Bentil scored 10 points for Champagne Chalons Reims in the team’s 84-90 loss to Le Mans in the French Pro A Basketball League.
Reims suffered the loss away from home against the side ranked third in the league heading to the game with Monaco leading the division.
After scorching displays in Reims recent games, former Providence College Forward Bentil was not his at his best registering ten points.
He added three rebounds, an assist and two steals to his production line in a game Guard Martin Hermannsson led all scorers with 29 points.
Bentil both three point attempts and scored just three of eight field goal attempted shots; he was clinical from the free throw line as he converted all four attempts.
The loss snaps Reims two game winning streak the team enjoyed close to the end of the first round and had them climb out of the relegation spot.
Le Mans had recently crowned Slam Dunk Champion, DJ Stephens, score eight points.
