Brimah goes up for Dunk
Amida
Ghana Center Amida Brimah and Austin Spurs marked their return to the HEB Center from a four game road trip with a loss to Wisconsin Herd.

Spurs lost 92-93 in the Gatorade League matchup that had former NBA Champion and Los Angeles Lakers Guard Shannon Brown feature for Wisconsin.

Herd had Joel Bolomboy lead all scorers with 27 points with the 2017 NBA Draft pick almost registering a double double as he gathered eight rebounds.

His mark on the boards fell short off Brimah’s who paced the game with 10 rebounds in the narrow loss for Spurs despite all starters scoring in double figures.

Amida also recorded a game high five blocks in another excellent display on defense which has been his trademark since his time with University of Connecticut.

He added a steal and an assist to his game leading production in 27 minutes off the bench behind starting Center Livio Jean- Charles who scored 16 points.

Spurs play Maine Red Claw on Tuesday January 16 in a rescheduled game.
