The Austin Spurs rebounded from a 92-95 loss to WestChester Knicks by beating Windy City Bulls 119-108 in the Gatorade League.
Ghana Center Amida Brimah was at the heart of the win as he led all players in blocks by recording five rejections in the game.
The Tudu born player is well known for his defensive stops after starring for University of Connecticut in a four year spell which yielded a national collegiate championship.
Brimah added eight points and six rebounds to his production in 28 minutes off the bench behind French Center Livio Jean-Charles.
Amida is averaging 2.7 blocks per game for the season which mirrors the production line he averaged in College with the Huskies.
Forward Jaron Blossomgame led the game in scoring as he registered 26 points converting one of just two three point shots. He did most damage from the field as he converted seven of 10 shots and 11 of 13 free throws.
Spurs play Wisconsin Herd on Friday, January 12.
