Sacred Heart Technical Institute carried on from beating defending Sprite Ball Champions Opoku Ware School 38-27 on Day One of the competition to secure to secure two more wins on Day Two.
The team piped Adisadel College 18-17 and beat Mawuli Senior High 23-8 to lead Group D; Sacred Heart plays St. Augustine’s College in the quarterfinals today.
PRESEC-Osu also completed a treble of wins in the group stage with Pope John Senior High and Prempeh College ahead of tough quarterfinals games at the El Wak Stadium later today.
Pope John beat Augustine’s 18-11 and T.I. Ahmadiyya 22-18 while Presec-Osutopped Takoradi Technical Institute 20-16 and Keta Senior High 25-20.
Prempehj College got a 15-14 win over St. Thomas Aquinas before rounding up an impressive outing in the group stage with a 14-4 win over St. John’s School.
In the girls division, Kumasi Girls High School, Ahantaman Girls, Accra Wesley Girls and Aggrey Memorial Zion Senior High School have the semifinals after clinching big wins on the second day of competition.
