Prempeh College and Pope John Senior High and Junior Seminary have topped Groups B and C respectively at the 2018 Sprite Ball Championship.
The pair qualify to the quarter finals of the ongoing competition as leaders in the respective groups at the preliminary stage.
Both teams qualify to the next stage of the Championship on the back of unbeaten runs clinching three wins in as many games.
Prempeh College topped St. John’s School, Sekondi 14-4 in the final game in Group B to score its third win in three games.
Prempeh and St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School have qualified from the group ahead of KSTS and KSTS.
In Group C, Pope John Senior High beat T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School 22-18 in Pope John’s final game in the preliminary stage.
The 2016 bronze medal winners qualify to the quarterfinals as winners of Group C ahead of rival St. Augustine’s College.
Beating Augustine’s 18-11 earlier today sealed Pope John’s spot in the knockout stage prior to the win over T.I. Ahmadiyya.
