Koforidua Senior High Technical School (KSTS) poor run in the Sprite Ball Championship continues after falling to Prempeh College.
KSTS’ maiden game in this year’s Championship ended in a 23-39 to the Ashanti Region side in Group B at the preliminary stage.
This means the Koforidua based side is winless in four games dating back to the last edition of the championship as KSTS exited the 2016 competition without clinching a win.
This a far cry from the glory days where the team secured back to back bronze medals and a silver medal in 2012.
KSTS face an uphill task to make the quarter finals as they take on 2016 bronze medalist St. John’s School, Sekondi and St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High next.
In other games, Pope John Senior High clinched a 36-17 win over Presbyterian Boys Senior High School- PRESEC Legon in Group C.
Adisadel College recorded a straight forward 30-18 win over Mawuli Senior High School while St. Augustine’s College secured a 31-16 win over T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High in Group C.
