Teams representing schools set to compete at the Sprite Ball Championship are set to arrive for the games on Wednesday January 4.
The participating schools will be accommodated on the University of Ghana (UG) Campus while featuring in the tournament which from January 4-6 and games will be played at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.
Reports reaching Basketballghana.com indicate schools including Wesley Girls High School have touched base at Ghana’s premier tertiary institution to get settled in early.
Teams are due to report early on Wednesday to allow players rest and participate in a special clinic prior to the games.
DC Dynamics Coach Feranmi Olulonyo is set to reprise his role as the lead man for the clinic with support from fellow bright young trainers.
This year’s competition has 16 schools competing in the boys division and 10 competing in the girls division with Opoku Ware School and Wesley Girls High School as defending champions in either division.
Sprite Ball is organized by Rite Sports and headlined by Sprite.
