The ultimate draw for the upcoming Sprite Ball Championship will be telecast live on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The big process will be conducted during the live broadcast of renowned basketball television program Courtside on Sunday December 24 from 16:00-18:00 GMT.
The draw will decided which teams make up various groups in the female and male divisions respectively at the Championship.
Games in the preliminary stage will be decided by the draw’s outcome as teams gear up for tough matchups in the anticipated event.
Reports coming in indicate Ghana Basketball Association Chairman David Addo Ashong and Ghana Education Service National Physical Education Coordinator Emmanuel Domenyah will be on set to conduct the draw.
16 schools in the boys category and 10 schools in the girls category will be paired against each other with successful teams making it to the knockout phase.
The next Sprite Ball Championship takes place from January 4-6, 2018 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra; Opoku Ware School and Wesley Girls High School are defending boys and girls Champions.
