The final spots at the upcoming Sprite Ball Championship will be decided by votes from the public with a slew of big schools up for selection.
The Sprite Ball Championship takes place next year at the El Wak Stadium in Accra from January 4-6, 2018 with 16 schools competing in the boys division and 10 competing in the girls schools competing in the girls division.
15 teams have made it to the national games with nine doing same in the female division. However, schools that did not clinch an automatic spot at next year’s game have been handed a unique chance to play at the competition.
Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon), Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) and Kumasi Anglican Senior High School headlining the male division.
Former national winners St. Mary’s Senior High School and Sacred Heart Senior High Technical School lead the way in the girls division. Eastern Regional side Okuapeman Senior High School and Volta Region outfit Kadjebi Asato are included in the list.
The list of schools has been published on Ghana basketball news portal Basketballghana.com where the public can vote for teams.
