The list detailing schools that missed automatic spots for the upcoming Sprite Ball Championship has been altered prior to the start of the polls.
Originally, schools like Mfantseman Girls Senior High and Achimota School made the list but have been cut from the new list issued by organizers of the Championship.
The female division had the roster tweaked omitting aforementioned schools; this means neither side stands any chance of making the national tournament roster.
However, it is a different story in the male division as the roster remained unchanged with the likes of Kumasi Anglican Senior High School and St. Peter’s Senior High School still in the running for a place at the 2018 Sprite Ball.
After missing out on automatic places in the Greater Accra and Western Regions respectively, Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon) and Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) are included in the list.
Voting is underway on leading basketball portal Basketballghana.com and is set to end on Saturday December 23 at 21:00 GMT.
Sprite Ball takes place from January 4-6, 2018 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.
