Front runners in the Campaign Tournament Ashaiman Lions and Tema Heat will be in action as they square off in a headline game in the second round.
Lions beat Tema Community 2 57-56 while Tema Heat beat Tema Rockets 61-33 in the opening round of the Tema Basketball League pres season competition.
The tie is one of three games scheduled to be honored at Tema’s Community 4 Court on December 23 following an exciting group of games in the previous round.
After falling in two straight games, Francophone Stars is up against Ghana Navy with the latter heading to the fixture after netting a 71-48 win over Akatsi Rifles.
Despite falling in the first round of last season’s playoffs, Navy looked impressive in its first outing since losing out to eventual league champions Tema Community 4.
Rifles take on Ghana Police to round up competition in the first set of games scheduled for the second round of preseason.
Police beat Francophone 53-51 in its maiden appearance and will be aiming for a second straight win in the tournament ahead of Rifles.
