Tema Community 2 has recovered well from an opening day close loss to Ashaiman Lions to register its first win of the preseason tournament.
C2 beat Tema Rockets 59-45 at the Chinese Court in Tema in one of three games played at the venue on Day Two of the competition.
Both teams headed to the fixture with losses as Rockets fell to Francophone Stars following a similar result; Stars beat Rockets 61-33.
Despite competing well against two time league finalist Ashaiman, Community 2’s impressive start fell short of a win with Lions winning the engaging contest by the slimmest of margins.
However, the team saw out a fairly easier matchup to get in the win column ahead of its final game at the group phase.
Akatsi Rifles lost 41-78 to Ghana Navy in its first game of the competition; Rifles failed to show up for Day One’s tie against Francophone Stars granting the latter side a win via forfeiture.
Ghana Police beat Francophone Stars 53-51 in the final game of the round.
