St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School has qualified to play at the upcoming edition of the Sprite Ball Championship next year.
The celebrated school will represent the Greater Accra Region at the national competition after sealing one of three spots in the boys division.
Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Osu) and Sacred Heart Senior High School qualified from the regional level alongside Aquinas.
After dazzling at the 2016 edition thanks to standout Guard Amos Ollenu’s exploits all the way to the quarterfinals, Aquinas failed to match the highs set before.
However, the team aims for a return to such heights after hosting the Sprite Ball Trophy Tour entourage on its premise earlier today.
The Trophy Tour visited the school on the Greater Accra Region leg with similar trips planned to PRESEC Osu and West Africa Senior High School-WASS.
The upcoming Sprite Ball Championship takes place from January 4-6, 2018 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra. WASS and Accra Wesley Girls represent the region in the female division.
