Austin Spurs Ghana Center Amida Brimah has recorded back to back double digit marks for the first time in his NBA Gatorade League career.
Days after scoring 10 points in a loss against Salt Lake City Stars, Brimah followed it up by recording 12 rebounds in a game against Santa Cruz Warriors.
More encouraging for the rim protector was featuring in the starting unit against Warriors which Spurs lost 102-107 at the HEB Center for its fourth straight loss.
Brimah scored eight points to go with 12 rebounds, one assist and one block in 25 minutes on the floor; moving into the starting unit and picking up his production goes a long way to increase his chances of making an NBA roster.
Austin return to action on December 10 against the same opponents aiming to halt the bad run that has its postseason ambitions in jeopardy.
Spurs have eight wins and seven losses this season and are ranked eighth in the Western Conference. December hasn’t been particularly kind to team as Austin is yet to win a game.
