Hotel Joe Carl was the venue that held a special party organized by veterans players in Tema for this year’s Tema Basketball League winners Tema Community 4.
The event which took place over the weekend had several members of the winning team enjoy meals and drinks provided at the special occasion.
Veteran Coach Emmanuel Essel Worbil who guided the team in the final series against Ashaiman Lions was present with Most Valuable Player Award winner of the competition Aninagyei Osei.
Other members of the team including Shooting Guard Kent Fosu, Forward Eric Deku and Assistant Nana Kwame Asare made appearances at the ceremony organized by the older generation on players as a way of motivating the current group.
Congratulatory messages were passed on from the veterans for their impressive showing in the campaign which ended early last month.
The team beat Lions in two straight games to clinch the series and title despite heading to the finals as underdogs considering Ashaiman eliminated then reigning champions Nungua Coldstore.
C4 is preparing to feature in the preseason competition dubbed “Campaign Tournament”.
