Renowned Basketball Coach Lawal Brimah will headline this year’s Sprite Ball Clinic as the day’s countdown to the commencement of Ghana’s biggest high school basketball tournament. The Clinic takes place from December 6 -12.
The Two Time Ghana Basketball Awards Coach of the Year winner is set to lead Coaches through the curtain raiser exercise to get players in the frame for the competition.
Brimah is expected to pass on valuable lessons gathered from a playing and coaching career in Ghana and Nigeria spanning three decades.
The long tenured instructor will take young players through several on court drills with an aim to improve skill level in shooting, passing and defending.
He takes over from DC Dynamics Coach Feranmi Olulonyo who headlined the last edition held in December 2016.
Brimah has a storied career in Coaching after leading Accra Technical University to win title wins in the WAPOGA and Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship.
The Clinic coincides with the Sprite Ball Trophy Tour across Western, Volta, Eastern and Greater Accra Regions respectively.
Sprite Ball will be played from January 4-6, 2018 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.
