Brimah in action for Spurs.

Austin Spurs has lost its second straight game in the NBA Gatorade League after 97-102 to Salt Lake City Stars in the team’s latest game.

A day after falling to Texas Legends, Austin failed to record a win and end its two game losing streak despite the efforts of Olivier Hanlan and Ghana Center Amida Brimah.

Hanlan scored 28 points to match the scoring exploits of Salt Lake Forward Tony Bradley and pace the game’s scoring chart.

While Brimah missed out on scoring in double digits, he inched closer to recording such numbers in other statistical categories.

The 6 foot 11 Inch Center registered eight rebounds, seven blocks, two assists and a steal in 30 minutes of action for the G League affiliate of San Antonio Spurs.

Renowned for his shot blocking skills in his time at University of Connecticut, Brimah was a clear winner in the contest as his closest challenger Griffin recorded two blocks.

This is Brimah’s maiden season with Austin after training with San Antonio prior to the season.
