There have been little surprises in qualifiers for the next Sprite Ball Championship as the qualifying phase is yet to suffer a major casualty.

After the Ashanti Regional qualifiers ended with reigning national champions Opoku Ware School (OWASS), Prempeh College and T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School qualify to the main competition, the same tune has played out in other regions.

Volta Region will be represented in January 2018 by Keta Senior High School and Mawuli Senior High after both schools secured the spots available.

In the Eastern Region, Koforidua Senior High Technical School (KSTS) and Pope John Senior High School will be present in Accra for the national championship.

It is the same in the female division as December 2016 silver medalist Kumasi Girls and former national T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School will represent the Ashanti Region.

Awudome Senior High School secured top spot in the Volta Region and will reprise it spot as the region’s representative as it has so many years.

Defending female champions Wesley Girls High School are tipped to qualify from the Central Region.
