Ghana Center Amida Brimah returns to action with Austin Spurs against Texas Legends in the NBA Gatorade League.
The home game will played at the HEB Center on Friday December 1 with the tie serving as the first of back to back games.
Spurs play Salt Lake City Stars the following day following a break; the team has not been in action since recording a 96-95 win over Agua Caliente Clippers on November 24.
With Spurs scheduled to meet Windy City Bulls on Wednesday January 10, it is likely Brimah won’t matchup against Zach LaVine and Nikola Mirotic.
Both players have recently been assigned to Windy City from the team’s NBA affiliate Chicago Bulls recently. The players have been assigned to the G-League side as they work their way back from significant injuries.
Mirotic sustained facial fractures ahead of the season following a physical altercation with teammate Bobby Portis.
LaVine is yet to feature in a game since tearing his anterior cruciate ligament last season when he plied his trade with Minnesota Timberwolves.
Brimah is averaging 5.1 in points and rebounds and 2.3 blocks
