The roster for the upcoming edition of the Sprite Ball Championship is taking shape with teams booking spots at the national event.

Qualifiers have commenced in a few regions and several more are expected to be completed in a few weeks to fully complete the roster.

At the time of writing, five schools have sealed spots in the preliminary round of the most anticipated high school competition.

Reigning Male Division Champions Opoku Ware School, T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School and Prempeh College will represent Ashanti Region at the competition.

With the defending champions coming from the region, Ashanti secured an extra spot in the division paving the way for Ahmadiyya to qualify.

In the Eastern Regional qualifiers, arch rivals Pope John Senior High School and KSTS have sealed their names in January 2018’s competition.

The teams will play in Ghana’s capital Accra in the tournament after qualifying to the regional final game which takes place on Thursday November 30.

Qualifiers in the Western and Central Regions take place on December 2 and 5 respectively.
