Koforidua Senior High Technical School (KSTS) and Pope John’s Senior High School have qualified to the next edition of the Sprite Ball Championship.
The two big rivals will represent Ghana’s Eastern Region in the celebrated high school competition due to be take place in January 2018.
The national games will be held in the nation’s capital, Accra next year with a slew of the best teams in the country competing.
Ahead of the main championship, qualifiers to determine representatives of various regions in the country have largely been determined with others set to follow.
Though the final game is yet to be played and a winner declared, KSTS and Pope Johns will be in Accra after clinching respective wins in the semifinals.
Pope John’s beat St. Peter’s Senior High School 14-13 and KSTS beat St. Paul’s Senior High 31-16to make the final game which takes place on Thursday November 30.
Both teams join Ashanti Region reps T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Prempeh College and reigning national champions Opoku Ware School in the boys division.
