Versatile Ghana Forward Ben Bentil leads Champagne Chalons Reims in the French Pro A Basketball League heading to Round 11.
Bentil paces the Northern French team in scoring averaging 12. 4 points per game thus far in the 2017-2018 season in his debut campaign.
In ten games, the Sekondi-born combo Forward has been a consistent threat on the offensive end despite the team’s poor run in recent weeks.
Reims are on a four game losing streak and has culminated in the team’s four wins in ten games this season; the team ranks 13th in the 18 team French division.
Like his team, Bentil has struggled for form in recent games as he has failed to register double digit in points.
He is closely followed by Iceland international Forward Martin Hermannsson who has averaged 12 points in the campaign.
Aside emerging as the team’s top scorer, Bentil has registered 4.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists; Ed Daniel paces the team in rebounds with a 6.1 mark.
Bentil signed with Reims ahead of the season following stints with Dallas Mavericks in the NBA and Xinjiang Tigers in China.
