The Eusbett Court is tabbed to host this season’s games.
The 2017-2018 Global Sporting Platform (GSP) Basketball League season is near with the new campaign set to commence on Saturday November 25 at the Eusbett Court in Sunyani.

However, Sunyani Technical University (STU) and West Siders are running against the clock to feature in the upcoming season.

Neither club has completed registration for the new season and is in danger of completely missing out on the roster.

League organizers have extended the registration period to enable both clubs continue featuring in the division; deadline ends at 18:00 GMT tonight.

Both clubs have been an ever present feature in the competition since it began in 2015 and hope to extend the streak.

In the absence of the duo, six teams have been registered to compete this weekend including reigning champions University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR).

Suncity Braves, LIR, Barracks Scorpions, Desert Rabbits and Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG Saints) are the remaining members of this season’s campaign.

This is the third season of the league which is played out in Ghana’s Brong Ahafo Region capital.
