Iconic Ghana basketball personality Anthony Nartey Adjorh’s big day has been marked with a befitting birthday celebration.
The newly turned Septuagenarian was honored at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu with a big birthday celebration to mark his achievements in the sport after turning 70 on Tuesday.
Adjorh popularly known as “TM” has been instrumental in basketball’s development for several decades through his tireless and selfless deeds to the sport.
A series of exhibition games crowned the special day as players from the various divisions in the Accra Basketball League featured.
An all female matchup tipped off proceedings at 17:00 GMT with the male game following afterwards involving present and past players.
TM was presented with a big cake and was serenaded by the impressive crowd who turned up at the famous ground to witness the occasion.
Notable personalities including two time Coach of the Year Lawal Brimah were among those who showed up for the event.
Adjorh is a recipient of the prestigious Dedication and Valor Award at the 2016 Ghana Basketball Awards.
