The just ended season in the Tema Basketball League has garnered a lot of attention which has made finalizing the list of participating teams in the upcoming Christmas competition a headache.

Per reports gathered by Basketballghana.com, eight teams were picked to compete in next month’s tournament.

However, following several deliberations from stakeholders in the fast rising competition on the Ghanaian scene, the tentative list is yet to be finalized.

The likes of 2016 League champions Nungua Coldstore, 2017 third place winners Tema Heat and Tema Community 2 are rumored to be on the list of teams already.

A meeting has been held at Tema’s Community 4 Court but the inconclusive end to the roster has forced league board members to call for another meet on Friday, November 24.

Originally, the top eight teams in the 2017 regular season were show in to competition but discussions are set to alter the roster.

Community 4 beat Ashaiman Lions twice in the finals series to win the 2017 crown with Point Guard Aninagyei Osei earning MVP Honors.
