Celebrated Ghanaian basketball figure Anthony Nartey “TM” Adjorh in line to reach the milestone age of 70 on Tuesday November 21.
The soon to be septuagenarian has a long history with the sport in Ghana seeing the game gain popularity in the West African country.
In a year marred with the losses of legendary figures Matthias Ocloo and Benjamin Baafi, the achievement is a great one.
For his undying commitment to develop players in the game, Adjorh received the prestigious Dedication and Valor Award at the 2016 Ghana Basketball Awards.
He is a constant presence at league games irrespective of the division and works as the Team Manager for Tudu Magic in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I, Tudu Galaxy Division II and Galaxy’s female side in the ABL Women’s Division.
To celebrate his landmark achievement in the game and valuable character, an All-Star Game will be played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
The exhibition game takes place on Tuesday with an all female matchup tipping off at 17:00 GMT to be followed by an all male matchup.
