Exhibition games involving male and female players will take place at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu on Tuesday November 21 to honor celebrated basketball figure Anthony Nartey Adjorh.
The Iconic figure popularly known in Ghana basketball circles as “TM”, turns 70 on Tuesday and the exhibition games forms part of a program to honor his status.
In his extensive association with the sport, Adjorh has been an emblem of commitment and source of inspiration to younger generations.
His works earned him the prestigious Dedication and Valor Award at the 2016 Ghana Basketball Awards and currently serves as Team Manager for Accra Basketball League outfits Tudu Galaxy, Tudu Magic and Galaxy’s female side.
The All Star Games tipoff at 17:00 GMT with female players engaging each other in a fixture that precedes the male tie.
Turning 70 is a big achievement for the basketball lifer in a year fellow iconic personalities Matthias Ocloo and former player turned administrator Benjamin Baafi passed away.
