Top ranked duo in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II, Ghana Police and Reformers of Prisons have ended the 2017 campaign on a high.
Both teams clinched wins in their respective fixtures against DCD Aspirants and Tudu Galaxy respectively in their final stance in the season.
Police beat Aspirants 66-34 in the opening game of the penultimate round at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
Reformers beat home side Galaxy 66-43 in the follow up game to clinch its eleventh win in 12 games and tie Police’s record.
Both teams strolled into the games on the back of sealing qualification to the elite division; Navy Warriors round up the three teams that will feature in Division I next season.
Police and Prisons share the same points- 23- the same record, 11 wins in 12 games and also share the same circumstances that got them relegated from the elite division.
Galaxy and Aspirants on the other hand have missed out on Division basketball for another season.
