Navy Warriors and CYO have clinched respective wins on the final day of the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II.
Warriors beat Junior Reformers 81-70 while CYO beat Spartans 60-47 to draw the season to a close at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
Beating Reformers ends a thrilling season for Warriors who booked its place in Division I next season prior to tonight’s game.
Making the elite division is a big achievement for the team and the momentous occasion was ended on a high note with a win.
Following an exciting 67-66 win over Panthers in overtime, Junior Reformers miss out on clinching a sixth win this season.
In the opening game which tipped off at 16:00 GMT, CYO showed Spartans no mercy by beating the home side and condemns them to an eleventh loss in the season.
Losing to CYO means Spartans’ 2017 campaign had just a win in 12 games as CYO clinched the win which halts a three game losing run.
