This year’s FIBA Africa Zone 3 Club Championship ends tonight at the National Stadium in Lagos, Nigeria with a trio of games lined up.
Defending Champions Kano Pillars will be in action in the final game of the round against Ghana representative Braves of Customs.
Pillars take on Braves at 15:30 GMT in the headline game of the round with Braves in contention for a place at the main Championship.
The game will be preceded by games between Mark Mentors and Civil Defence at 11:30 GMT and Gombe Bulls and Aspac of Benin at 13:30 GMT.
Pillars beat Gombe 75-60 in the last round played yesterday while Braves failed to hold on a 50-49 third quarter lead to fall 67-73 to Mentors.
The competition which features teams from eight West African countries began on November 11 but has been characterized by a lot of absentees.
This has paved the way for host nation Nigeria to field more teams in the tournament. The top two teams qualify to the main continental games.
