Ghana and Austin Spurs Center Amida Brimah will face the South Bay Lakers for the second time this week on Saturday November 18.
The weekend meet in the Gatorade League follows Spurs 82-110 loss to the Lakers a week ago in Los Angeles.
Brimah registered five points, three blocks, six rebounds and an assist in 23 minutes; Olivier Hanlan top scored for the Spurs with 17 points.
The Canadian will be out of Austin’s rotation in upcoming games due to national team commitments in the FIBA 2019 World Cup qualifiers.
Undrafted 2017 pick Kendal Yancy has been signed to replace him with the former due for an appearance following his stint with Windy City Bulls.
Playing the Lakers for the second time in a week follows Austin’s tie against Oklahoma City Blue tonight at Cedar Park in Texas.
Spurs have four wins in six games this season but former University of Connecticut Captain Brimah is yet to register double digits in the major statistic categories.
