Pillars featuring in last season African Championship.
Braves of Customs chances of progressing to the Africa Club Championship hinge on results from the team’s final round of games at the ongoing FIBA Africa Zone 3 Club Championship in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Ghanaian side is set to play Mark Mentors and reigning Zonal Champions Kano Pillars next in a bid to make the continental tournament roster.

The fixtures take place on November 17 and November 18 respectively in the final rounds of the competition following a rest day today.

Pillars have won all three games the team has been involved in including last night’s 81-63 win over Benin side Aspac.

Mentors lost out to fellow Nigerian side Gombe Bulls 67-75 which diminishes the team’s chances of making it beyond the sub regional games.

With two wins in three games in the tournament, Braves are serious contenders for one of two spots needed to secure participation at the upcoming continental event.

Positive results from both games will guarantee the team’s qualification to the showpiece event.
