Lions.
Ashaiman Lions will feel the strain of winning Game Two of the 2017 Tema Basketball League Finals Series this Sunday November 12 as another loss to Tema Community 4 ends the title challenge.

The team must overturned a 54-58 loss to C4 at the latter’s court which is popularly referred to as Chinese Court to stand a chance of clinching this season’s league title.

Despite faring well in the opening game, Ashaiman missed the leadership, play and shooting qualities of Shooting Guard Elvis Pobi-Siaw who featured for Ghana at the recent FIBA Africa 3×3 Cup in Togo.

The top marksman and contender for the best Three Point Shooter in this year’s competition, will be available for Sunday’s contest and under the spotlight to deliver for his side.

Failure to beat C4 means Ashaiman would miss out on another league title for the second straight year after losing to Nungua Coldstore in 2016.

The game is scheduled to tip off at 16:30 GMT.
