Rangers (red) lost to Reformers in a scrappy game.
The most in form team in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II, Navy Warriors, will be in action tonight against Junior Rangers.

Warriors head into the game aiming for an eight straight win in the competition which is gradually getting to an end; tonight’s tie at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu is the team’s penultimate game.

With both teams tied on 17 points and spotting the same seven wins in ten games record, Rangers are primed to halt Navy’s impressive run in the campaign.

Ranked fifth in the league and one spot behind Warriors due to minor goal difference, Rangers know a win over Navy tonight keeps them in the hunt for promotion to the Division I.

Only the top three teams come season’s end will qualify to the elite division and with Reformers of Prisons and Ghana Police locked in the top two spots and Panthers just a point above, the team has a big chance to make the cut.

Panthers will be involved in the opening game of the round against Junior Reformers.
