Later tonight, a pair of of crucial games in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II will be honored at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
The ties feature three of the top five teams in the league with a lot at stake in terms of qualification to Division I next season.
Fourth placed Navy Warriors take on fifth placed side Junior Rangers in the second game with both teams on the same points -17- for the season.
However, in the opening game between Junior Reformers and Panthers which tips off at 17:00 GMT, third placed Panthers have a lot riding on the final outcome of the results.
A win keeps the veteran side’s ambition of a dream return to the elite division intact while a loss all but ends that dream as contenders Navy and Rangers have one more game to honour before the season draws to an end.
With little to play other than improve its four win in ten games record, Junior Reformers could end Pnathers dream with a win in the tie. The team is ranked ninth in the standings.
Panthers have featured in one more game than the remaining members of the top hierarchy which puts the team in a deep hole should it fail to win tonight.
