Five time NBA Champions San Antonio Spurs Gatorade (G) League affiliate side Austin Spurs have responded to a loss against Texas Legends by clinching a 111-104 win over Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
Ghana Center Amida Brimah chipped in four points in his second straight appearance for the side in the winning effort.
After featuring against the Legends for 12 minutes, Brimah played 10 minutes against Vipers and added three rebounds and an assist to his production line.
More importantly, his efficiency was positive as he recorded a positive mark (8) in the game; unlike his appearance against Texas where he turned the ball over six times, Amida coughed the ball up once.
The 6 foot 11 inch Center’s reduced time on the court is heavily linked to foul troubles he battled with in the game in keeping out 7 foot 3 inch Center Zhou Qi.
The 2016 NBA Draftee from China played 34 minutes and finished with 10 points, five blocked shots and four rebounds.
Olivier Hanlan paced the Spurs in scoring by registering 27 points in the contest; Austin play Reno Bighorns on Friday November 10 in Nevada.
