Police got an unsurprising win over Reformers (Green).

Rangers (red) lost to Reformers in a scrappy game.
Reformers of Prisons got the best of three in its penultimate game in the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II campaign.

The Prisons got a big win courtesy a 91-63 result over Dunk Knights in the latest round of games played in the division at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

Pummeling Dunk means Reformers move to the summit of the division with 21 points from ten wins in 11 games; the team replaces Ghana Police as leader of the division.

On top of that, Prisons all but seal its return to the elite division in Ghana as only a bizarre string of results are likely to prevent the the team from clinching one of three qualification spots.

Prisons dropped down to the lower tier competition at the end of last season despite ending the year in the playoffs.

Relegation to the lower division took place following administrative challenges that prevented the team from registering in time for the elite division’s commencement.

Novas Academy beat Spartans 52-45 to increasing its win tally to five in 11 games for the season.
